Seller Description

You can't buy more exhilaration for your money... PERIOD! Without a doubt one of BMW's legacy cars, performance and handling to be ranked in the upper pinnacle of all super-cars (stock). Now let's look at this one specifically- Here is one of 276 built in 1999 in Arctic Silver, cut that number again by half to receive the special order two tone black and gray leather interior and sunroof. Now narrow it down to say 20 in the country to have under 47K miles... through in the option of heated seats and you could count comparable cars on one hand. Not to mention, ours has no accidents, it's a non smoker car and an absolutely clean vehicle history. Now, Let's synch the deal for you! This one of a kind car was a loved toy and has had handfuls of money thrown at it. The list includes- RMS/Vortech Supercharger with After-cooler and tuned through a full stainless DINAN exhaust system. Suspension upgrades include- TC Kline adjustable coil-overs and reinforced plates. Front and rear H&R sway bars, x brace, strong strut and butt strut. All Poly- Urethane bushings replace the soft OEM ones for the entire suspension components, engine and transmission mounts. Performance Friction BIG BRAKE two piece drilled rotors, high friction pads and stainless steel braided lines round out $15K plus in "bolt on" performance upgrades. Everything works as it should and all work was professionally done- NO issues. The end result- A HUGE SMILE ON YOUR FACE - Est. 357hp (@ only 6psi boost) the ultimate play toy that won't drain the bank account, brakes and suspension like none other and without that bouncy / chattery ride. It truly is one of those cars you MUST HAVE! I Hope you've enjoyed the pictures of this magnificent coupe!

My Comments

Sold 4/27/11 - Looks like it finally sold. Someone got a nice coupe.

4/21/11 Update - Ebay auction ended with two high offers of $24,000 (from high feedback bidders) that they let expire for some reason.

3/31/11 Update - Evidently this didn't sell back in December as it's back on Ebay once again with a buy-it-now price of $24,888.

Sold 12/19/10 - Ebay auction ended with a high offer of $23,000 (which expired) and the AutoTrader listing has been taken down. I assume they may have come to a deal off-Ebay.

12/9/10 Update - Relisted on Ebay with a buy-it-now of $23,888 down from $24,888.

12/1/10 Update - Ebay auction ended without any offers which is surprising to me.

11/10/10 Update - Appears to now be consigned to Med Pro Auto Group. They did a great job detailing and photographing it, but it is now priced at $24,888 on Ebay. Their description is not quite accurate as the dark gray interior is not special ordered, I'm sure there are many more than 20 with under 45,000 miles and heated seats are standard on the M Coupe. Their photo gallery is probably the most complete of any M Coupe I've ever seen sold, and they make it look pretty amazing.

9/17/10 Update - Price drop to $21,300 from $22,000.

8/3/10 Update - Price drop to $22,000 from $23,499. Now it's a very good deal.

6/29/10 Update - I confirmed that this is indeed the car that was at Enthusiast Auto. I also heard that Enthusiast Auto recently rebuilt the supercharger and installed TC Kline S/A Coilovers. Seems like a pretty good deal.

6/28/10 Update - Price drop to $23,499 from $23,900. Added some new photos.

Both the exterior and interior look to be in good condition. The suspension sits nice but he does not specify what it is. This seeming lack of knowledge is a little worrisome, but he claims meticulous maintenance. I'm pretty sure this is the same car that was sold by Enthusiast Auto about 6 months ago for around the same price.
