- The attached Carfax vehicle history report shows no accidents; it also shows that this BMW was first registered in Mississippi and then kept in Florida and California since July 2000.
- According to the build sheet provided in the gallery, factory equipment includes a limited-slip differential, an electrically operated glass sunroof, heated sport seats, an M leather steering wheel, and a Harman/Kardon stereo system.
- Modifications to this M are extensive, and the full list is detailed below. Highlights include a Dinan 3.5-inch carbon intake, Dinan strut brace, Dinan stage 4 ECU tune, Dinan 3.5-inch exhaust, M50 intake manifold, and a European-market 3.5-inch mass-air-flow sensor.
- The E36/8, or "Clownshoe", M Coupe has become sought-after by enthusiasts for its unconventional aesthetic and engaging driving experience. Built as a hybrid of the E30 and E36 chassis, the M Coupe combines hatchback practicality, a capable engine, and a competent chassis in one analog package.
- Power comes from the "S52" 3.2-liter inline-6 engine, rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Due to the modifications performed to this Z3 M, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

Seller Notes
- Due to the modifications and tune performed to this Z3 M, it may not pass emissions testing in some states. As always, it's the buyer's responsibility to perform all due diligence regarding registering this Z3 M in their respective state prior to placing a bid.
- The seller reports that the car has not been smogged since 2018, but it is registered in California until 2023 in an area that does not require a catalytic converter. Please contact the seller directly with any questions. It can be negotiated for the seller to help the buyer convert the car to smog legality in CA by reinstalling the catalytic converter.
