Seller Description

2002 M coupe. Steel Grey with black interior. 33,580 miles. All stock except foot pedals, 3.73 differential and 6 speed transmission. I'm the second owner. The previous owner installed the 3.73, which gives great acceleration, but felt like it needed another gear on the highway, so I had a 6 speed transmission installed. The clutch was replaced at the same time. The top gear ratio in the 3.73 and 6 speed is identical to the original 3.19 with the 5 speed. I have both the original differential and transmission. No accidents. The paint is all original and in excellent shape, there is one nick on the right front fender and an almost invisible dent on the rear roof where a garage door was closed on it. All wheels have the original paint and are free of curb rash. The car has not been tracked. The sub-frame is sound. It had it's 25,000 mile service by a BMW dealer, but without the valve adjustment. It needs new tires. Smog test is current. The battery is a year old. The car has always been a California car and is currently located in Palm Desert (an hour and a half east of LA).

It's back with price reduced to $49,000 from $52,000. Amazing deal for the low mileage.

For those that have been around awhile, you may remember this coupe being owned by MDork the founder or Dorkfest. Very cool! I remember it being for sale just months before I was able to find my own coupe. It's still very low mileage and in great shape. The couple modifications are great ones including a 3.73 differential and 6-speed transmission. The originals are included as well for those that need originality. It needs a couple minor maintenance items, but I think it's a great deal for a low mileage steel gray with provenance.
